Glitch Hop

There's a new kid on a block and his name is Glitch Hop. Ok, maybe not so  fresh, but it started to get more serious about two years ago. Nobody knows where the name was first actually phrased but it most likely has ties to bands and artists like Prefuse 73, Dabrye, Funkstorung, or edIT. One of the basics is that it's played most of the times live. People who play this kind of music use controllers and various electronic gadgets to manipulate and create the sounds.
''In a very narrow sense, the term “glitch-hop” could be interpreted as ‘mid-tempo, twisted hip-hop beat with distorted, heavy bass and acapellas''.
