Serge Salat - “Beyond the Infinity”/installation


Beyond infinity, a multisensory installation by french artist and theorist Serge Salat, combines mirrors, light, music, and fractal art in an architecture that conflates visitors' perceptions of space. Beyond infinity was designed as a mystical journey, in which the visitor progresses into the reflected layers of dreams within dreams. Salat notes specifically: entering the work is also entering the world of the dream of the red mansion transposed to the 21st century...
This piece of art was sponsored by Buick cars and was usable during the events as a vehicle showroom, the work was installed at shanghai's westgate mall from september 16th through 18th, 2011.

House 04 by Helena Alfirević Arbutina

House 04 is designed by croatian architect Helena Alfirević Arbutina.  Probably one of the most interesting and nature oriented houses, the House 04 project, located in the sunny region of Osijek, Croatia, tries to establish a special relationship between man and nature. The house is divided in three wings. One of the side wings accommodates the garage and the bedrooms, while the opposite wing is reserved for children. The central wing, which is public, is ideal for welcome guests. The interior is rich in transparent area, so you can see everything around the house. Really interesting and inspiring...
